Anyone who knows me personally knows that I'm a big fan of pretty much anything psychedelic. Psychedelic movies, psychedelic art, and especially psychedelic music. There are some songs that are so fucking trippy that I feel like I'm having a flashback. Lately I've been in a mood for psychedelic music, so I decided to make this week to trippy shit. I'll kick of psychedelic week with one of my favorite songs by one of my favorite bands.
While most people are really only familiar with their album Merriweather Post Pavilion, my favorite Animal Collective album is called Sung Tongs. Sung Tongs is an experimental psych-folk album, and it's very different from AC's other work. The first song on this album, Leaf House, is a total mindfuck. It was a brilliant way to start off the album and its a brilliant song in general.

Andrew Jackson Jihad
I like to introduce people to bands that I feel deserve more listeners. Andrew Jackson Jihad is one of those bands. How anyone can not like this song is beyond me.
